A national health/medical charity in London, seek a Brand and Content Lead to help cover an interim basis of 2-3 months, whist they recruit permanently.The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of high quality content across channels to raise brand awareness. Communicating the organisations key messages in line with overall strategy.We seek a suitable candidate with experience across video, photography, images, info graphics, website, leaflet design and copy etc. The client has pointed out that it is important to have someone who is not a risk taker, that can stick with the organisations image and brand.Duties:Develop and create high quality, compelling content, including, but not limited to: video, photography, images, infographics, website assets, leaflet design files, copy etc., for use across all teams within the charity, to be broadcast across on and offline channels.To work with external designers, agencies and contractors, to brief in, project manage, and deliver other content projectsWork with the Communications Manager to implement the content strategy, supporting the overarching strategy of the communications team and the wider charityAdapt all existing content for optimal use across digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter through videos, infographics or other methodsUndertake design projects internally and for third party supporters, including, but not limited to, posters, invitations, reports, exhibition collateral, web assets, postcards, leaflets etc.Manage brand assets, advising colleagues and third parties on use of logo, colour palette etc.Work within the brand guidelines and with the key messages to ensure total consistency and uniformityTo work collaboratively with all members of the Communications team and to provide an 'account team' approach to campaigns and activity and when providing services to other departmentsExperience:Excellent design skills and visual creativityUnderstanding of brand building, adherence to brand guidelines and the creation and maintenance of a strong visual identityGood knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/CloudExperience in video shooting and editing, and photography would be desirableGood knowledge of iMovie, Final Cut Pro X, After Effects or other video editing software is desirableConfidence with juggling a busy workload with multiple projects and stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, in person, over the phone and in writingExcellent attention to detailExperienceExperience of developing creative content from initiation through to distributionExperience of developing audio-visual content and resourcesExperience of design and productionExperience of managing external suppliers and agenciesExperience of working with and upholding brand visual identity and house editorial styleExperience in project managementPay rate is based on PAYE. Ltd/ Umbrella candidate also welcome at a rate of 21.72ph.
