Influencer Manager

Our client is a growing sports and betting company who are recruiting for a Influencer Manager. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a business at such a pivotal stage in its development and to become an integral part of the ambitious growth that the client is set to achieve.

Role Summary



After previous successes working with influencers through agencies, the company is creating this new role to in-house the growth and management of the influencer channel for both brands. The Influencer Manager is pivotal to launching and delivering the brand-new influencer programme and working in close collaboration with the Affiliate Manager. As a social betting product, influential users within the app play an important role in driving the growing base of users; further increasing the base of such influential users and thus a large base of followers is the key task of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a bespoke discovery and evaluation process with our Insights team to select the right influencer talent and shape the future program strategies for UK streamers, video makers, and other creative partners
  • Build influencer communities in the UK and champion them to be content creators
  • Negotiating and managing influencer contracts to build effective long-term relationships with talent
  • In line with the overall marketing goals, collaborate with cross-functional partners to interface and onboard new creators
  • Track and report on community engagement effectiveness
  • Build community members into stars through engagement and promotional efforts
  • Monitor industry trends and explore engagement ideas, tools, and techniques
  • Work with the Head of Partnerships to build the influencer strategy and orchestrate each brand's influencer presence
  • Work hand in hand with the Affiliate Manager on areas of overlap and to monopolise on any opportunities
  • Writing creative content briefs that result in memorable and engaging content that maximises ROI from influencer work
  • Working with the wider marketing team and business to deliver an integrated influencer offering, for example, the utilisation of influencer IP within paid media creative
  • Monitor and benchmark new trends and competition
  • Produce regular reports on activities and events using analytics to keep track of the community, highlight successes and identify areas of improvement
  • Develop an influencer network and strategy across the US and Europe
  • Review influencer management tools/solutions and oversee the implementation of such to ensure it meets the requirements of the business now and in the future


Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in community & influencer management
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related specialism
  • Hands-on experience in community building and in getting results from influencer marketing
  • Able to translate brand-wide regional community strategies to local activations that drive strong results
  • In-depth knowledge of all emerging social platforms (Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Forums and Discord)
  • Extensive knowledge of up-and-coming, as well as top, betting/sports/casino influencers
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of influencer analytic platforms
