We are looking to recruit skilled graduates to deliver high-impact small group catch-up tuition to save a generation of young people who have been so badly affected by the current pandemic. Opportunities are available across all four campuses in the Group.
In the role, you will work with a combination of GCSE and/or Functional Skills level students, aged 16 up, in small groups only, supporting them to bridge identified skills and knowledge gaps.
Tutors will be provided with a scheme of work and teaching and learning materials and support throughout and you will receive training and on-going support to enable you to make a real impact and change lives.
Candidates will hold a degree or professional qualification in a relevant area and, ideally, you should have a teaching qualification, however this is not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain and build transferable skills into your portfolio, work with highly skilled professionals, and make a real difference to the lives and opportunities of a generation.
It is ideal for newly qualified graduates or experienced professionals looking for flexible work opportunities to compliment other lifestyle commitments. We will negotiate a set timetable to suit your availability and our business need with hours primarily available term time during the day, with some opportunities for intensive holiday catch-up sessions and/or evening work.
Closing date for the return of an online application form is Closing date: 6th September 2020
We have opportunities for both English and / or Maths small group tutors across all four campuses within the Group. Please identify your preferred campus/es in your application.
