Job Description

Communications Manager/Social Media Manager - £200 - 250 per day

Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a Global research and entertainment company for a communications manager with excellent social media communications experience.

Role and responsibilities:

Develop, implement and monitor the success of marketing and communications campaigns and strategies
Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand, including website copy, blogs and more
Design, compile and write monthly newsletters
Develop and manage all social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram etc.)
Ensure appropriate framing, positioning and develop proof points and messaging which resonates
Understand key audiences we want to take action based on a range of different market and user research outputs
Deliver excellent digital-first and user-centred communications that enable audiences to find, understand and act on key information
Event communications including invitation, publicity and write ups
Managing website content including updates and copy
Reach out to influencers, media and beyond in order to arrange story placement on a national and global level

Essential skills:
social media communications experience within the entertainment industry.
Professional experience of policy and corporate communications: developing and implementing communications plans with internal partners to influence policy
Experience of running social media campaigns, writing and managing email newsletters, writing briefs and managing creative development with designers, copywriters and filmmakers, running social media accounts, evaluating communications campaigns, creating simple films and creative assets such as twitter cards
Relationship management - ability to understand strategy, build strong relationships and deliver proactive and reactive external communications to support those objectives.
Prioritisation - ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly with partners when plans change
Strategic analysis - ability to develop communications/content or channel plans based on best practice communications principles
Presentation skills - ability to create and present great presentations that win over senior managers
Audience insight - ability to commission and use impactful market research, digital analytics and other techniques to develop a detailed understanding of our target audiences

Details:

3 months rolling contract
£200-250 per day
