Job Description

What the job involves

The Education Team at Prostate Cancer UK develop and deliver quality education to health professionals involved with prostate cancer care. We support health professionals with professional development by providing bursaries and a monthly clinical update. We work with teams across the organisation to support engagement work with health professionals.

As an Improving Care Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of education events and conferences, and provide administrative and logistical support to the Team. The Education Team builds partnerships and relationships with key external stakeholders so that we can collaborate and increase our reach.  

What we want from you

You will be confident in working autonomously, have excellent communication skills, and possess excellent organisational, planning and time management skills. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience of using and maintaining databases.

You will be able to travel across the UK when necessary to conferences and other events. You will be confident in coordinating events virtually and face to face and representing the charity at conferences and events.  

As a team player, you work well with others, are comfortable working cross-organisationally and have experience of participating in multi-disciplinary project teams. You’re also flexible and can adapt quickly to internal and external changes. You manage your time effectively and can juggle a breadth of competing priorities.
