Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people across the UK? StreetDoctors teaches emergency first aid to young people at risk of youth violence so they know what to do if someone is bleeding or unconscious. We do this through our movement of young healthcare volunteers (medics, nurses and paramedics) who train 11-25 year olds to understand the true medical consequences of violence and empower them to become lifesavers in their communities.
Our award-winning organisation is recruiting for a Director of Operations. This is a key leadership role working closely with the CEO. We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and financial skills to run all our operations including our programme of delivery, oversight of our volunteer movement and relationships with our delivery partners. We are seeking a highly experienced, committed, and passionate individual who is strategic and focused, able to turn vision into action, with excellent people and leadership skills as well as digital expertise.
This is a full-time role but we are open to 4 days a week/flexible working.
StreetDoctors is committed to ensuring that we are a welcoming, inclusive and diverse team which benefits from a broad spectrum of experiences and backgrounds. We are currently underrepresented in terms of diversity and lived experience of youth violence and so would particularly welcome applications from these groups.
