Job Title: Marketing Executive (French Speaker)
My client is a private equity backed market leading software provider of solutions in the retail Industry with 400+ employees across Europe, South Africa and Australia whose software enables retailers to make their customer's dreams become reality.
This organisation is exapnding rapidly, with high organic growth and acquisition a key part of their success story. My client is set to drive this high growth with a new marketing team that will create outstanding digital campaigns to support all key segments and countries.
About the role
This is a newly created role in a small but growing marketing team.
Reporting into the Digitial Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for driving a deep understanding of the customer, creating personas and segments to support the development of the marketing campaigns. You will connect the customer needs with detailed knowledge of key products, whilst working with the product management team on creating compelling messages that relate to what they need.
You will be someone who can work independently and learn quickly, with ambitions to grow with the company and be a future leader. Training will be provided through external courses where needed, as well as internal training on key areas. As this is an international role, there is flexibility to work from home, as well as from the UK headquarters based in Leicestershire.
Email marketing - create effective email campaigns in Pardot, with compelling messages and targeted at specific customer segments, reporting on effectiveness of campaigns.
SEM - work with the external agency to create effective PPC campaigns with targeted landing pages that drive conversions and maximise ROI, as well as review SEO performance, taking measures to increase organic ranking.
Website management - manage key areas of the WordPress website to update content and create new landing pages for new products across all regions
Content creation - create compelling content targeted at the needs of audience segments designed to influence behaviour and drive new data. Draft content, such as blogs and press releases, coordinating with internal specialists and external freelancers to produce high-quality content that will drive new data.
Sales collateral - as the key marketing contact - you will develop new sales collateral to support the sales process, such as brochures and leaflets that can be used at events and in meetings
Partnership marketing - work with key salespeople to create and coordinate campaigns that will leverage the audience reach of our key partners in selected key territories.
Social media - manage social media channels by planning and creating posts and content, as well as responding to and reacting to comments from our customers and followers. Work with agencies on advertising campaigns, creating effective messaging and campaigns that drive engagement, new data and enquiries. Undertake research to understand our audience in each channel and grow reach and engagement.
Automation - work with the Marketing Automation Executive on creating campaign flows for key channels and audience segments, to increase leads and also grow revenue from existing customer base.
Customer insight - work on research activities to increase understanding of the target audience, developing personas for key segments to better target messaging and campaigns.
Key skills and experience
- At least two years' experience working in a marketing role, with knowledge of core marketing channels
- Educated to degree level, with a marketing or business degree preferably
- Experience in working with a number of different stakeholders to manage and coordinate projects across teams
- Ideally be able to speak and write French either at a native or business proficient level
- Abe to write clear, effective marketing copy
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and working with different stakeholders
