Marketing Manager -Music Tech Company
Permanent/ London

Our well known global music client is looking for a Marketing Manager to join a new, small but growing team working within the music tech area. To lead on executing the multi-channel marketing strategy, as devised by the Head of Marketing, who you will work closely with. You will be responsible for outbound marketing communication, so need to be a confident and clued-up copywriter, capable of delivering on-brand timely messaging across multiple channels; social, email, long-form blog posts, and interviews with interesting customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for marcomms channels (planning, content creation, execution and management): Social media, Email newsletter, Blog posts
  • Paid marketing, search marketing
  • Audience profiling, segmentation and analysis
  • Understanding the marketing funnel and health of CAC: LTV
  • Campaign building, execution, and reporting
  • Content marketing, Partnerships and resellers, Press
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and the leadership team to maximise growth of the new team and area to achieve marketing KPIs
  • Reporting on marketing activity

What you need for the role:
  • Relevant, demonstrable experience in marcomms
  • Demonstrable long form copy writing experience, can build on the brand tone of voice, able to quickly absorb and utilise music industry and plug-in language
  • A solid commercial sense for marketing tactics
  • A passion for music, music production and the product
  • A confident communicator who loves tech
  • Campaign building and management
  • Cross-channel digital marketing
  • Familiarity with marketing funnels, and core metrics e.g. CAC: LTV
  • Performance marketing: understanding of channels and core metrics, bidding, ad copy structure, keyword selection, and channel optimisations
  • Experience building/managing paid media campaigns (desirable)
  • CRM tactics, marketing automation, product lifecycle marketing (desirable)
  • SEO, APO, Search marketing (desirable)
  • Video editing and photography skills (desirable)
  • Landing pages optimisation, AB testing, conversion optimisation(desirable)
  • Solid understanding of subscription business metrics and challenges (desirable)
  • Early-stage start-up experience (desirable)
  • Experience working in B2B / non-mass market consumer offerings (desirable)
  • Basic understanding of plug-in / VST software, previous experience at a pro-audio technology company (desirable)
