Studio Photography Manager - Amazing Retail Company, Up to £55,000 + Benefits, London EC1 Area, ASAP Start

Overview of the Studio Photography Manager:

We are looking for a Photography Studio Manager with impeccable attention to detail, organisational skills and time management. You must have a good understanding of photography and videography, and the processes that go into running a photography studio. digital, creative, website builds and integrated marketing.

You will have a creative flair, strong communication skills and be able to manage multiple project deliverables. You should also possess excellent organisational competencies and be able to manage the workflow of the creative/digital process from start to finish.

You'll be responsible for keeping stakeholders updated with progress, flagging up or solving any issues that could impact timely delivery. This role requires you to work in a constantly fast-paced environment.

Duties:

Responsible for the smooth running of two in-house photography/video studios and our clients packshot photography process.

Oversee the product photography process, liaising with other teams and departments where necessary.

Manage 2 direct and 2 indirect team members.

Manage a samples manager, who is responsible for managing products for lifestyle and packshot shoots.

Manage images - you'll edit images for sign-off where needed, and share retouch notes with photographers.

Being the first point of contact for our Digital Asset Management tool (DAM).

Being the first point of contact for image requests which cannot be self-served from the DAM.

Taking Responsibility for overseeing the correct tagging of images for the DAM.

Maintaining photographic guidelines for online photography and ensure all images produced to follow the guidelines.

Liaise with any retouching/artwork agencies and be the first point of contact if we need to outsource work.

Manage any packshot-related discussions with colleagues.

Ensure all live products have the correct and optimal set of images.

Continual improvement and streamlining of the process to ensure the site looks consistent and all images are present on a website.

Work closely with the trade team on the commercial calendar to ensure samples management is built into project timings.

Ensure that the studio space is tidy and organised, and ensure the company is following any Health & Safety guidance relating to the photo studio space.

Escalate any shoot day changes with buyers/merchandisers.

Excellent organisational skills, naturally juggling multiple tasks at any one time. Experience managing a high volume of work.

Whats in your DNA?:

Experience in the retail management environment.

Experience in a studio setting/shoot production.

Project management experience.

Experience using Google Sheets.

Continual process and flow improvement Preferred Experience.

Previous experience working in E-commerce (ideally grocery E-commerce).

Previous experience running a photography workflow to tight deadlines.

Experience in using Traffic management software.

Mac literate - knowledge of Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
