Project Manager - Fundraising Events, working on a high-profile bespoke event, joining a National Charity.Contract role, until August 2022. Starting ASAP. Part-Time. Work from home with occasional travel to offices in both London and Cardiff.It is an exciting time the team, as the charity embarks on a new high-profile event/trail designed to raise awareness of the cause and raise money to support the much-needed work of the charity.As the Project Manager - Fundraising Special Events, joining the Corporate Fundraising Team and working with the wider Special Events and Fundraising Directorate, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of this bespoke trail event. Alongside the main event, there will be a series of fundraising and awareness raising events, including a high value auction once the trail is complete. Key areas of the role: Lead a cross-departmental projects team, ensuring the income potential of the trail is maximised through sponsorship, gift in kind donations, retail merchandise, community fundraising and volunteering, and media opportunities.Project manage the implementation of the event and ensuring timelines are met, stakeholders are consulted, and fundraising targets are met/exceeded.Oversee the logistics, working with 3rd parties and internal stakeholders to ensure production is seamless and of a high standardWork closely with the Special Events Manager to ensure all events associated with the trail raise maximum income for the charity.Ensure opportunities to generate income and offset costs against the trail are identified and exploited.We are looking a highly experienced fundraising project manager with extensive experience of project managing multifaceted fundraising events, or experienced leading multiple fundraising departments. Proven ability of leading cross-functional project groups to deliver fundraising targets. Excellent understanding of fundraising event management.
