Job Description

I am looking for an SEO expert with great content writing skills looking to take the next step in their career. You'll have around two years of in-house or agency experience under your belt, know all the latest about the industry (Estate Agent), and want to try out bold and exciting ideas.

The role will involve monitoring a brand new exciting start up within the Estate Agent industry and its competitors across a range of SEO metrics (rankings, traffic, links), feeding your research into the team's content strategy and writing SEO content (blog posts, etc), and providing SEO input and support for all relevant projects.

As an SEO specialist you'll identify strategies, techniques and tactics to increase the number of visitors to a website and obtain a high-ranking placement in the results page of search engines. By generating more leads for the business you'll open up new opportunities for driving growth and profit.

This type of work may be referred to as content marketing or conversion rate optimisation work and you may instead have the job title of online marketer or digital account executive.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing content to include keywords or phrases, to increase traffic to our websites. You will have in-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO copywriting and the behaviours of search engines. You will be able to conduct testing in design, layout, and marketing
techniques, to gain the most organic and paid traffic. As SEO is an ever-
changing landscape, our SEO Specialist needs to be continuously learning and evolving.

Person Specification:

  • Non-standard working hours may be required, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays (especially when on site).
  • Travel both within the UK and Internationally.

Knowledge and Experience Essential Desired

• At least two or three years' experience in managing SEO campaigns (strategy and implementation)
• Strong understanding and good working knowledge of GoogleAnalytics and Google Search Console as well as a variety of SEO tools, e.g., SEMrush, AccuRanker, Brightlocal
• Experience in national and local SEO strategies
• Experience in managing and optimising Google My Business profiles
• Experience in producing informative yet understandable KPI reports for the company
• Experience in SEO copywriting and content marketing
• Experience working with WordPress
• Skilled at on-page and off-page optimization and keyword research and analysis.
• Demonstrable knowledge of link building, content marketing, and social media strategies.
• Knowledge of ranking factors, and search engine algorithms.
• Proven ability to perform SEO audits and successfully implement site optimization.
• Up to date with the latest industry trends, tools and algorithms, SEO best practices, and competitor news through audience insights and digital analytics.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Skills and Aptitudes Essential Desired

• Planning, implementing, and reporting on the performance of SEO campaigns.
• Perform comprehensive SEO audits of websites including lead or sales performance data, rankings data, crawl logs, and site analysis tools to create an actionable plan for improvement and optimization.
• Performing keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Driving all SEO activity (on-site and off) to improve key metrics and deliver significant return on investment.
• Researching and briefing content to be published on website.
• Working alongside the Digital and Web Development teams to implement technical improvements.
• Staying up to date with latest Google algorithm and SEO best practice guidelines.
