PPC Manager

 

Job Description

The PPC Manager is responsible for planning the day to day optimisation of Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager accounts, getting involved in client communication where necessary to get what is needed for the paid function to deliver, and liaising closely with the Delivery team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Objectives & responsibilities

Google Ads

Management of global, national, and multilingual accounts
Building PPC strategies (keyword strategies & ad copy development)
Campaign and account builds across (Search, Google Display Network & Remarketing)
Build/setup pixels conversion & remarketing through Google Tag Manager
Plan GDN & Remarketing strategies
Build remarketing rules
Train the Marketing executive
Daily optimisations
Build reports and analyse activity to provide observations and ideas to improve/grow
Presenting reports and proposals to clients face to face and on-screen shares
Link all activity to clients marketing platforms (i.e. HubSpot)

LinkedIn Campaign Manager

Management of global, national, and multilingual accounts
Building strategies for Paid Social across LinkedIn (sometimes Facebook)
Build campaigns across LinkedIn (sometimes Facebook)
Implement URL tracking (HubSpot) for all activity
Link all activity to clients marketing platforms (i.e. HubSpot)
Build reports and analyse activity to provide observations and ideas to improve/grow
Presenting reports and proposals to clients face to face and on-screen shares

Facebook Ads Manager

Management of global, national, and multilingual accounts
Building strategies for Paid Social across Facebook and other platforms under facebook network
Build campaigns across Facebook)
Implement URL tracking (HubSpot) for all activity
Link all activity to clients marketing platforms (i.e. HubSpot)
Build reports and analyse activity to provide observations and ideas to improve/grow
Presenting reports and proposals to clients face to face and on-screen shares

Promotional strategy

Define, develop and deliver promotional strategies for clients across Google Ads and LinkedIn campaign manager.
Campaign strategy, budget control, execution and optimisation
Programmatic, display and remarketing awareness/lead generation campaigns
Data analysis & optimisation - reviewing and optimising ppc budgets and campaigns to focus on delivering optimal campaign performance.

Performance optimisation

Monitor, analyse and optimise Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager programmes and campaigns to deliver against client marketing objectives

Developing cross-channel performance forecasts and projections aligned to marketing and business objectives
Measuring, analysing and reporting on performance, leading client performance reviews and identifying opportunities for optimisation
Developing channel best practices and implementing across client accounts, driving adoption of new platforms, tools and tactics
Defining content requirements based on channel knowledge and performance data

Client management

Develop relationships, monitor project timelines and manage client communications

Working with each Account Director, Head of Strategy, and Head of Client Services to develop client strategy, define requirements and identify opportunities to grow accounts
Liaising with clients on project briefs and requirements, attending weekly client calls, documenting actions and managing requests
Driving team briefings to review project plans, milestones and requests with the Account Director and Delivery teams
Build PPC audit documents (highlighting problems with accounts and how to improve them). Then selling the recommendations into clients

Skills

Strong PPC Experience

2 years minimum of ppc experience with a focus on strategy development, execution and optimisation of PPC campaigns

Requirements

Proven Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager experience
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
2+ years of paid search and paid social experience within an agency
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Understanding of website development, marketing, measurement and analytics, content marketing and management, inbound marketing, and HubSpot.
Excellent time and project management skills
Always looking to improve inefficient processes
Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlinesKPIs

We use a scorecard to track performance. The score card assigns a % next to each KPI to give a total score. This score is used to confirm the level of bonus/commission that is due and to create a plan of action for areas to improve
