Head of Humanities
TimePlan Education are working with a school in Haringey who are looking for a Head of Humanities to join them in February 2021 to cover a maternity leave. This will be on a 12 month, fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing academy trust that has a real focus on promoting and achieving excellence for their students.
The school boasts excellent facilities, with 5 main computer rooms all with new computers and four specialist computer suites. You will have access to a large school library that can be used as part of your lesson planning. The school also has a 'the best swimming pool in the locality and light, airy studios as part of their sports complex'. - Ofsted. Teachers have access to all the school's facilities for their teaching and personal use.
The trust is made up of 6 secondary schools a primary school and 4 alternative education settings. The trust's schools are closely linked and very much work together to support the needs of their pupils and parents. Standards of behaviour and attendance are consistent across the schools and outstanding teaching is encouraged through creative, innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
This opportunity is not suitable for newly qualified teachers. The school will be looking for someone with at least 3 years teaching experience. There will be some teaching on your timetable. The salary for the role will be MPS3-6 with a TLR2, depending on your experience. The school pays inner London.
