If yes, then a highly successful, independent media company are recruiting for a Business Development Director or Senior Business Development Director (depending on level of experience) working on an established, major international brand.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic sales team and employ your drive, gravitas, persistence and tenacity to hit and exceed personal revenue targets, making your mark on a growing brand. You will develop the sales performance of the brand, and use your consultative media sales experience to drive and grow new business opportunities whilst also maintaining and developing existing revenues.
As part of your new hands-on sales focused role you will be involved in undertaking thorough research and building industry knowledge, carrying out competitor analysis, attending client meetings, putting together media proposals for clients, and identifying contra agreements. You will also get the chance to travel internationally on occasions to both attend industry events/conferences and meet with clients.
Please note: there is no line management responsibility and the level of your role will be determined by experience.
You will bring to the table proven B2B media sales experience across print, digital and events/conferences, and have the drive and commercial acumen to succeed. Strong negotiation and relationship building skills are also essential, with a targeted driven attitude.
Basic salary c. £45k - 50k (depending on level of experience) plus uncapped OTE.
Potential to go above the £50k salary mark for Senior Director level (depending on experience)
