A prestigious scientific journals publisher based in London is looking for three Scientific Editors to join their team. They're looking for successful candidates to check and confirm articles and information to be published with a high attention to detail, as well as editing scientific content in-line with their house style.
Experience with the peer review workflow is essential for this role as the successful candidate will be involved with liaising between authors and peer reviewers as well as maintaining the database of current reviewers, assessing them throughout the process. Communication is key, as well as organisational skills.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in a biological science (especially in the molecular medicine and cancer, although other related fields will be considered). Previous experience in publishing is not necessary as training will be given, so if you have excellent written English skills, strong communication skills, and can organise your time effectively, please do get in touch for more information!
For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.
Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
