Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a leading Media company in their search for a HR Manager on a full time, permanent basis.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Director, this is a very hands on, operational role where you will be working with senior stakeholders. You will be advising Managers around a variety of ER matters surrounding absences, disciplinaries , sickness leave etc.
The main duties will include -
-Advise and coach our managers, bringing your knowledge of best practice, legislative frameworks, and considered commercial outcomes to bear.
-Influence managers and work with them to deal effectively and appropriately with a range of performance, conduct and compliance issues.
-Manage all employee relations, including absences, disciplinaries, sick leave, maternity, paternity.
-Ad hoc corporate projects and comms from Mental Health, D&I etc.
-Merger & acquisition support.
-Dealing with every day ad hoc queries from employees.
-HR metrics, screening, occupational health, policies, procedures, and other associated operational requirements.
To be suitable for this role you will need to posses the following skills/ experience -
Solid generalist HR experience within a Professional Services environment (essential).
Extensive experience of managing end-to -end HR cases.
Strong Employee Relations experience.
Excellent working knowledge of a variety of HRIS.
Experience of influencing and persuading clients and colleagues.
The ability and confidence to work with senior stakeholders within a complex management structure
