About the role
Your main focus will be on producing online advice content across various digital channels for use by Shelter's audiences. However, because we work with wider teams on many of our projects, you could be working with Product Managers and owners, developers, designers, policy specialists, legal teams, senior management - anyone it takes, in fact, to produce world-class online products and services.
You'll need an excellent all-round understanding of web publishing and using a content management system. You'll also need experience of producing high quality user-focused content, i.e. you have extensive experience of how to produce content with a user, not a client, in mind first and foremost, you're able to take complex language and processes and make them simple to understand. What's more, you're great at explaining your decisions clearly and adept at researching, analysing and conveying complex information to a variety of different audiences.
