Job Description

A fantastic, award-winning, educational publisher is seeking a highly motivated Sales Advisor to drive sales and generate revenue for their fast-growing business. This full-time role would be based remotely and have the possibility to work from and visit our client's Kent office.

As Sales Advisor you will be working amongst a friendly and supportive team of sales professionals and product specialists, and responsible for generating sales, fielding sales queries, prospecting for the sales team, promoting the company, and supporting the existing sales function. Key tasks include, amongst others:

Building strong school relationships that generate leads
Converting leads into sales and assisting the Sales Manager to make sales
Generating leads using the company's customer data
Keeping the company CRM system up to date
Meeting agreed customer response service levels
Assisting with marketing campaigns and events, including event follow up
Contributing to research into the school sector

The successful candidate will be a hardworking, commercially aware, self-starter, with a proactive ability to seek out new business, ideally with a background of customer service or consultative sales in the schools / education sector, or you might come from a teaching, or publishing background. You will be quick to understand the products and the market and have excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal. Strong prioritisation and time-management skills are essential, as well as first-class team, and client relationship management skills - experience working on a CRM system would be fantastic.
