Part-Time Marketing Executive

£10 - £15p/h - 20 hours per week - September start

About Us

Spectacular Group is a leading provider of children s activities and educational classes. Our two main brands, Jo Jingles and Talking Tots, educate over 10,000 children per term nationwide.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced marketeer to join our team on a part-time, home-based basis. You will be working at a group level, developing, and implementing the marketing for our parent company (Spectacular Group) and two subsidiaries (Jo Jingles and Talking Tots).

We are looking for someone who can think strategically yet be happy working in the weeds (this is a very hands-on role).

The main duties of the role are:

  • Marketing Strategy - developing a multi-channel marketing strategy for the attraction of both end customers and new franchisees.
  • Liaison with Third Party Agencies - managing third party suppliers, including web design and social media agencies, website hosting, domain renewals and registrations
  • Website Development & Support - ongoing management of our websites, including editing and updating content.
  • Artwork & Design - working with external designer to develop and launch updated brand materials. Processing artwork requests, as required for Head Office & franchisees.
  • Advertising Activity - identifying opportunities for classes & franchises, implementation of advertising activity.
  • Email and Direct Marketing - developing email newsletters and campaigns for customers & prospective franchisees. Managing mail-outs to our customer databases.
  • Production of new Promotional Material - for both end customers and prospective franchisees
  • Data Collection and Insights - term dates, class prices, teachers details, Nurseries /Children s Centres, testimonials etc
  • Researching National Promotional Events - for franchisees to participate in on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Support with Organising Annual Conferences and Regional Meetings - providing relevant materials to franchisees from HO.
  • Market Research - at both a national and local level
  • PR and Communications - any experience with PR and Communications is a bonus

Due to the nature of this full and exciting role, we are looking for an experienced marketeer who can develop marketing plans and see through their implementation from start to finish.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is looking for a role that fits in around school hours and family life, while simultaneously allowing them to leverage their marketing skills and experiences to date.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can commit to 20 hours per week and we are very flexible when it comes to half-terms and school holidays.

You will be working in a great team with dedicated staff, all of whom are working on a flexible hour basis. You will be reporting directly to the Director of the business.
