Digital Account Manager - Paid Social


Job Description

My client is currently looking for a Digital Account Manager - Paid Social based to join their growing digital agency based in London ASAP.

You will be the main point of contact for your clients, building a high knowledge of not only the work we do for them but also their overall business. Your main responsibility will be working closely with team to ensure that work is completed on time and to a high standard. You'll also bring your organisation ability and have a high attention to detail, managing monthly budgets and recommending channel splits to ensure we hit the overall objectives. There may be the opportunity to develop your leadership ability and take on line management responsibilities for an executive, helping them learn the skills they need and supporting their career development.

Campaign Strategy & Management

  • To work closely with clients to ensure a full understanding of their business, digital needs and priorities
  • To work closely with suppliers to ensure that the team are constantly at the forefront of industry developments and when suitable, we are trialing these new tactics for our clients
  • Ensure all activity meets or exceeds the client's performance expectations
  • To manage budgets in line with strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target

Delivery & Task Management

  • Highly organised individual managing a number of different clients and campaigns at any one time
  • Clearly briefing and managing operational executives to ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard, on target and on time
  • Quality control of work conducted by junior and more operational members of the team

Looking for:


  • Strong understanding of wider digital channels and environment
  • Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with an acute attention to detail
  • Proven track record of developing junior team members
  • Proven track record of bringing efficiency to client activity in terms of both performance and resource levels
  • Exceptional level of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, including use and creation of Excel formulas
  • A good grasp of excel and strong analytical skills to analyses data sets into meaningful actions
  • A logical approach to troubleshooting


  • 1.5 - 2 years managing paid media accounts working towards client's goals on a DR or performance basis (focusing on Paid Social and at least one other including Paid search, Display or Social Media)
  • Ability to compile media plans across multiple channels
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting client presentations and QBR's


  • Experience running and optimising media campaigns - eg PPC, Paid Social, Display
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - able to grow accounts, win business and spot an opportunity for clients, our business and our team members
  • Experience with Adserver Tracking
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics


A degree with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, ideally in a science, business or marketing vertical or part of an agency internship program.

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000
