German Speaking Senior SEO Specialist

  • Fully Remote
  • 11 month contract End date: 31st March 2023 (maternity cover)
  • Team split:/3 SEO in Sweden/1 SEO in London/Wider team based in the US
  • £500 - £550 per day (inside IR35)

The Senior SEO Specialist is responsible for identifying trends and opportunities that can lead to Search Engine Optimization opportunities while coordinating support for incoming requests from global teams.

We are looking for someone that is a GERMAN SPEAKER either native or fluent.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate with teams from around the globe to support new and existing initiatives with SEO best-practice guidance
  • Identify opportunities and devise tactics for organizations and teams across the globe to increase SEO visibility
  • Work with a team to formulate annual, quarterly, and monthly strategy
  • Own of communicating, reporting, and presenting SEO performance for global initiatives
  • Consult on SEO strategy across the organization - understand tactics and strategy to drive content and technical changes that will contribute to overall OKRs and KPIs
  • See projects from ideation to execution, working with content and design teams, legal, product and brand teams and content editing tools to drive content changes through to the website
  • Deep dives into data found within SEO tools and other analytics platforms to understand website optimization opportunities and report back to the business on areas for improvement, across, technical SEO, competitive landscape, and information architecture
  • Maintain hygiene of tools and optimize for ideal setup and structure
  • Regularly mine database for new keyword opportunities and track keyword performance through relevant tools
  • Identify content gaps and organize resource to address them

The skills you need:

  • Bachelor's degree, minimum 5 years SEO experience
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices
  • Grasp of SEO's role within wider website initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience coordinating SEO initiatives in a complex, international organization
  • Understanding of technical SEO and the performance impact of these action
  • Ability to work independently with confidence in best-practice decisions

Desirable but not essential:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript for diagnosis and technical troubleshooting
  • Experience optimizing new and existing content with the goal of improving user experience and increasing rankings
