We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and?highly?talented?Copywriter?to support?the?growth of the?Digital and Events business unit. Working closely with?the Social Media Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for?writing engaging and effective copy, with a focus on our digital marketing outreach including but not limited to social and paid media.?The position will sit within a Content team, part of the wider Marketing team within the Digital and Events business unit.
Key responsibilities include:
Writing engaging and effective copy:? across a variety of digital platform: web, email, landing pages, social media, blogs, PR and additional marketing collateral as needed.?
Crafting social media captions : across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Writing for a global audience : our audience pans the global with prospective higher education students, and copy will need to be finessed for an international audience whose first language may not be English.?
Ad/Conversion Copy : event promotion and lead generation/bottom of the funnel as well as soft brand awareness copy (top of the funnel, inbound marketing)
Bringing our brand to life : by implementing and execution our brand guidelines on every piece of content
Continuous improvement : identifying opportunities to improve and standardise our copy and content process across various channels and seeing through to finish.?
The ideal candidate will be:
3+ years of?as a marketing copywriter
Experience in higher education sector desired, passion required?
Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills and ability to write in both English (U.K.) and English (U.S.)?
Enthusiastic team player and proven collaborator.
Self-starter - the role will require writing effective copy with minimal guidance or a loose brief
Thrives under pressure, always meets deadlines and effectively manages stakeholders
Solid understanding of the user experience and how copy and enhance or detract from that journey
Proven experience of writing creative, effective copy for a target audience
Clear verbal and written communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
