We are looking for an experienced and talented candidate to join our award-winning Communications and Advocacy directorate as a Multimedia Manager. You'll be passionate about bringing human stories to life through multimedia content and have a proven track record leading a busy multimedia function to deliver highly engaging creative content that works across multi-channel communications and connects with our key audiences.
What you will be doing
You will manage a highly skilled, diverse team who work across a variety of briefs, delivering impactful multimedia content day to day and across flagship integrated campaigns to build brand love and drive fundraising and supporter engagement - everything from developing the end of year supporter film, to supporting the production of DRTV adverts, to commissioning photography shoots for our services.
Working in partnership with internal teams, you'll need to negotiate demands whilst maintaining great working relationships and ensure that brilliant content is delivered on time and to budget through excellent management skills and solid production processes and workflows. Variety of work and fast pace will be the norm, with the dynamic team working on everything from a volunteer recruitment campaign to responding to the global coronavirus crisis.
What we are looking for
To succeed in the role, you'll have an endless supply of energy and solid background managing a busy team, putting your love of visual storytelling and proven track record in producing engaging multimedia content across different audiences and multiple platforms to good use. Working with finite budgets and resources across a busy multimedia team, problem-solving will be one of your biggest strengths. You'll bring your previous experience and excellent skills from the industry, either in-house or agency, and ideally having worked with NGO / non-profit clients.
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, and collaborative approach, to drive the best outcome. Working brilliantly across our fast-paced organisation, you'll be able to influence and negotiate to enable you to plan and prioritise needs in line with strategic priorities and deliverables.
You will be skilled at working alongside multiple stakeholders, with a keen eye for detail and proven ability to provide constructive feedback. Your open and honest approach and ability to manage conflict with tact will help build brilliant, collaborative working partnerships.
Meet the team
Reporting to the Head of Creative Content, you will be a key member of the content management team and our in-house creative content team, a diverse and hugely talented set of multimedia producers, editor, story gatherers, designers, copywriter and creative production support.
As part of the marketing communications department you'll be working to bring the power of kindness to life through our comms, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation including media, brand, digital, supporter marketing and engagement, as well as our frontline operations teams across UK and around the world, to make a difference for people in crisis.
