Digital Marketing Team Assistant / Permanent / Full Time - Mon-Fri 8am-4pm / £19,000 - £20,000 + Benefits / Altrincham

NC Associates are working on behalf of a manufacturing and production company based in Altrincham who are looking to hire a Web Team Assistant to join their team.

The Web Team Support Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day support of all UK and International B2C websites. This role is a pivotal position in the company giving the individual an opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of our digital space.


  • Responding to customer email, phone, live chat and social enquiries, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered consistently whilst maintaining consistent tone of voice
  • Organising customer returns and refunds
  • Managing the online stock check and amend the websites product catalogue in accordance
  • Updating content for the website including copy-writing, image editing, product updates and promotions
  • Posting imagery, content and adverts across social channels using various scheduler tools, creating engagement with existing followers and new outreach customers
  • Continue to develop product knowledge to ensure optimum customer service is delivered at all times via all customer communication channels
  • Working with the Marketing Team to produce relevant social media content
  • Create and monitor email and social campaigns under the supervision of the Marketing Team
  • Analyse any problems and issues currently facing the websites, based on individual testing or customer feedback. Communicate any results and recommendations back to Head of Web
  • Assist in the completion of daily, weekly and monthly KPI data
  • Assist in the UAT of new features on the web
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and website updates to continuously improve all websites and digital channels, whilst maintaining a consistent look and feel throughout the website
  • Monitor and log competitor activity
  • Provide information to the external PR agency to support the writing of press releases and internal / external communications.
  • Generally provide assistance, cover and support within the team and in all areas of the business as and when required

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Strong communications and organisational skills - this role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
    • Good understanding of websites and their functionality.
    • Excellent computer literacy skills - working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint.
    • Working knowledge of social media and Google analytics (not essential)
    • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.
    • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
