Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin's attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Stock and Supply Chain Planner to join our Group Retail Buying team based at our Merlin Business Support office in Chessington, Surrey. Reporting into the Merchandising Manager, the Stock and Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of orders, importing, consolidation and shipping around the world to Merlin's attractions worldwide. You will build strong relationships with our 3PL and merchandise suppliers to monitor, manage and plan deliveries for both import and landed stock inbound, ensuring accuracy against purchase order date and quantities, import commodity codes, freight costs, case pack sizes and containers. You will also manage outbound stock to our attractions to agreed delivery timelines. You will collaborate with attractions teams on stock allocations and delivery dates and have regular communication with the attractions to highlight out of stocks, delays and suggest solutions. You will ensure proficient and accurate management of stock and orders, ensuring optimised data integrity. You will ensure that all stock invoices are accurate, documentation is correct and that all paperwork balances with Finance numbers. You will also ensure that suppliers are paid in a timely manner. You will streamline and review processes wherever possible and to suggest improvement measures to ensure the highest levels of accuracy are maintained in the management of both physical stock and systems stock recording. We are looking for the following skills and experience… •Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Microsoft Excel. •Strong retail stock management systems skills. •Knowledge of international end to end supply chains and experience of working with 3PL warehousing and freight. •Knowledge of product classification process, commodity codes , customs documentation & import requirements worldwide desirable. •Experience of working on a direct basis with the Far East. •Forklift truck license would be an advantage. •Degree or equivalent qualification desirable. •Flexible, team player with excellent communication skills. •Proactive problem solver with a high level of accuracy and an eye for detail.
