Social Media Strategist Travel and Media London

We're looking for a creative and driven Social Media Account Manager to join the award-winning travel magazine. The ideal candidate is passionate about the travel industry, has a keen eye for beautiful imagery and expertise in strategic channel growth.

Working closely with the Editorial and Creative teams, the successful candidate will not only lead the social strategy for the Magazine, but they will also have a chance to work with our in-house creative agency and their clients.

Required:

• A passion for storytelling across digital and social media channels and an ability to tailor content for different audience types
• Experience in strategic and creative social media account management
• Excellent copywriting skills and an ability to pivot between our tone of voice and style and that of a client
• An interest in travel and an eye for great imagery and compelling content - you love keeping up with travel trends and destinations
• Highly analytical, able to conduct detailed audience analysis and constantly up to speed with trends in social media
• Equipped with great ideas for influencer strategy, creative partnerships, campaign activations and an interest in participating in new client pitches
• Experience overseeing new content production and working with photographers and external content creators
• Adept in paid social, A/B testing and growth hacking

• An open communicator and team player who loves developing and maintaining client and internal stakeholder relationships
• Adept at measuring results of social media campaigns, providing evaluation and analytics for future campaigns but also looking beyond the numbers at the bigger picture
• Design, photoshop and video editing skills are an advantage
• Experience in the travel, hospitality, lifestyle or luxury space is an advantage
