What we are looking for…

We are a life insurance and financial services brokerage looking for a digital marketing manager with at least 3-4 years of experience.

You will have proven your digital marketing skills across a similar role ideally life insurance ppc lead generation, be comfortable creating original content, optimising landing pages, A/B testing and able to demonstrate strong analytical skills.

The role…

You will be working directly alongside the director as part of the inital small team. You'll primarily be responsible for acquiring new customers across ppc or native channels at a more cost effective rate than our third party ppc lead providers. We're looking for an entrepreneurial individual with the capacity to shape our digital marketing strategy with industry best practice whilst identifying opportunities for growth moving forward. The business is fully funded for rapid growth over the next 4 years.

Flexible working location - Business is office based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire however the successful applicant doesnt need to be office based and the right candidate will be offered working from home options if preferred.

Key requirements will include:

  • Good knowledge of PPC - setting up campaigns, managing paid search accounts, optimizing performance, reporting on adwords performance, tracking activity impact, driving traffic and increasing sales.
  • Experience within life insurance / financial services ppc lead generation essential.
  • Knowledge of the broader paid media space, especially the paid social channels of Facebook & Instagram.
  • Excellent knowledge of the latest email marketing techniques and tools with evidence of previous experience developing email marketing campaigns, customer retention communications and targeted campaigns based on applied segmentation.
  • Understanding the role of content in the digital marketing mix. Demonstration of ability to build content calendars and deploy content accordingly.
  • An in-depth knowledge of google analytics.
  • An obsession with data and how to utilise this insight and act on it.
  • Good social media experience. Can demonstrate experience of platform management and use of social media tooling, recognizes the role of social media platforms in the sales process across paid, earned and owned channels.
  • Knowledge of demand generation funnels and a willingness to work towards lead generation targets.
  • Experience of marketing automation tools.

  • Strong use of Excel, comfortable using formulas and building reports.
  • Strong attention to detail.
