Job Description

Job Purpose

You would be responsible for planning and controlling the manufacturing process designated departments.

You would be responsible for culture setting, strategic planning, and balancing capacity to demand monitoring and scheduling staff.

Make sure work operations in the departments are in a safe, quality oriented & efficient manner.
You would be responsible for the day to day management of staff as well employment decisions, reviews, back to work interviews, absences & performances monitoring &overall development of department associates.

Strong emphasis on industry related production methods is essential.

Project specific duties

Evaluate and ensure the manufacturing processes follow safe, quality, manufacturing practices & procedures. Make sure direction is given where needed.

Inspect the product to verify conformance to specifications.

Study production schedules with project teams & estimate employee hour requirements, establish or adjust work procedures.

Manage departmental support staff to agree objectives.

Qualifications/knowledge

You must be flexible and versatile, able to work with imagination and ingenuity.

You must have wider knowledge of industry standard materials & techniques. Mould making, laminating, paint and scenic treatment, sculpting, carpentry, CNC, the ability to work with a variety of different machinery tools.

Possible to work abroad for short durations.

Desirable skills

Auto CAD, 3D MAX and Solid Works.
Theme park, Film, Theatre experience.
Basic Animatronics/ engineering principles.
Driving Licence.
