Reporting to the Marketing and Ecommerce Director, the Head of Paid Media will be accountable for planning and implementing the paid media strategy for both the UK and EU territories. The successful candidate will play a key role in the new phase of their paid media development and will be responsible for driving the relationship with Google. As a member of the senior management team, the Head of Paid Media will also be managing and recruiting a small team. Our client is looking for a hands-on individual with a proven track record of delivering against high growth targets. Working with a passionate and talented marketing team, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commercial acumen.

The Key Responsibilities of the Head of Paid Media:

  • Develop and executive the paid media strategy for the UK and EU ensuring that they are aligned with the overall business goals
  • Managing the planning and implantation of creative paid media campaigns
  • Responsible for analysing current market trends and changes and implementing them accordingly
  • Ensure that the paid media budget is adhered to and optimised across all channels
  • Build strong work relationships across the business and with key partners including Google
  • Produce detailed reports which highlight the performance of the paid media campaigns and confidently present the information to stakeholders and the senior management team
  • Recruit, develop and manage a team, ensuring that all work produced is of the highest standard

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Over 3 years' PPC experience is essential for the role
  • Proven experience devising successful paid media strategies and campaigns
  • A strong commercial acumen combined with a pragmatic and analytical mindset
  • Excellent technical understanding including HTML, Java, PHP and scripts
  • Confident dealing with data and presenting it clearly
  • A creative person with a genuine passion for PPC and the customer's journey
  • A natural born leader with a proven track record of achieving targets
  • Capable of developing a team
  • Fantastic awareness of Scrum management methods and tools would be advantageous
