SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus

JOB SPECIFICATION: Account Manager - Exhibitions and Events
The company has over 30 years' experience specialising in creating and delivering Exhibition Stands and Live Events. They have an enviable list of clients and diversify in industries working across a multitude of sectors including Beauty, Mobile Comms, Infrastructure to name a few.

Being a small team it's vital that the person who comes on board is happy to help out wherever is needed.
You will be handed several existing accounts from day one but there will be an emphasis on bringing in new clients as well. The role itself is an exciting prospect which will include extensive travel around the UK and at times across Europe. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and work to a target of bringing in new business.
You will manage clients with the backing of the whole team but be the key point of contact from conception through to the project going live. Being an ambassador of the business, you will pro-actively promote the services and expertise that can be offered by developing lasting relationships and getting understand a client's needs.
The majority of the organisations work comes through offering exhibition stand design and delivery so should you have experience working in this field or a good understanding of exhibitions, this will put you in good stead. We are looking for someone who has drive and ambition to win new business but understand that a consultative sell and superb account management skills is what brings customers back time and time again!
REQUIREMENTS: Account Manager - Exhibition and Events
In order to be successful in your application for this role we are looking at experience, however we want to find the right person and the softer skills and attitude are pinnacle. With this in mind, we would like to hear form people who have the following:
· Exposure or experience within Account Management where new business was included
· Knowledge of selling design-based solutions whether within exhibitions, events or similar
· An interest within branding and marketing
· An understanding of a small organisation culture and what it takes to succeed
· First class communications skills both written and verbal
· Superb organisational skills and diary management
· Confident client facing and be able to deliver pitches and presentations
· Someone who prides themselves working with a consultative sales approach
· An understanding that within the industry results may not be instantaneous
· Friendly, professional and approachable - No egos allowed!!
