Graduate Media Sales Executive

£22,000 - £24,000 Plus Uncapped Commission

Are you looking to immerse yourself as a sales executive in a multifaceted business servicing the lucrative media industry?

An opportunity for money motivated, hardworking graduates to excel within the media and advertising industry. A large national publisher is looking for an entry level candidate to join their growing media sales team, selling advertising space across their most successful publications.

The Company

This well-established publisher has over 20 year's experience across the healthcare, pharmaceutical and education sectors. This is a progressive role selling adverting space across several key journals. An integral part of the team, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to drive new business as well as managing existing, profitable accounts. You will receive extensive career development, training and support from senior management to ensure you are performing to a high level, enjoying their industry leading commission structure and working closely with all divisions of the business.

The Role

  • Working towards weekly and monthly targets focusing on both activity and revenue to ensure you fulfil your sales potential and maximise your commission
  • Developing new business relationships with brands across the UK and Europe to promote the brand you are representing and secure new clients
  • Managing existing accounts, building strong rapport with key clients to maintain regular revenue
  • Meeting clients to discuss terms of business and pitch advertising packages to develop strong relations and securing their custom
  • Working alongside your team to create a sociable, motivating work environment

The Candidate

  • No sales experience is required, this is an entry level opportunity. Greater emphasis will be placed on the work ethic, tenacity and commerciality of applicants throughout the interview process
  • Strong communication skills allow you to engage with senior stakeholders and sell effectively
  • A conscientious approach to work will enable you to work hard and progress quickly
  • A social, outgoing character will suit this collegiate working environment
  • A desire for financial success is beneficial in this role as you will be rewarded through an industry an industry leading commission structure, in addition to your basic salary
