Job Description

Our client is one of the leading printers in Watford. As well as print, they supply design and marketing services all under one roof.

Due to rapid growth, they are looking for a new addition to their team. Their ideal candidate is someone who has excellent all-round experience of working in a small or medium-sized digital print business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer liaison via all methods of communication - i.e. phone, email, face-to-face
  • Respond to enquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide estimates and ensure that follow-up calls are made to get feedback
  • Work as part of a team by getting involved in the running of the digital presses and finishing equipment
  • Progress jobs through artwork, proof, print, finishing and dispatch.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • At least three years' print shop experience, where you worked in both print production and customer service
  • Ability to work with a team in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent multi-tasking organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your tasks effectively
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines whilst remaining calm and composed
  • A 'can do' attitude with a commitment to do whatever it takes to get jobs out to customers
  • Excellent communication skills that make customers feel like VIPs
  • High attention to detail and be comfortable working on computers
  • Have rapport building skills and love pleasing customers so they are 100% satisfied.

You will be joining an existing team of 6 and should be a real all-rounder that likes to roll their sleeves up and get down to work to help the team. In return for your hard work you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary.

The emphasis of the role will be on customer liaison 75% of the time and to make sure that estimates, jobs and deliveries are progressing in a timely manner. However, around 25% of your time will be in assisting with print production so experience in this area is also essential.
