Job Description:

A leading podcasting and on-demand audio platform for hosting, distributing and monetizing content. With offices in London, and overseas, they host thousands of podcasts with top tier audio content producers from around the world.

Role and responsibilities

  • Responding to briefs and preparing presentations.
  • Carrying out industry research to identify potential client.
  • Selling a variety of advertising on the company platform including pre, mid and post roll, live reads, programmatic and sponsorships.
  • Identifying new business opportunities with potential brands and agencies.
  • Closing sales deals.
  • Educating advertisers on the audioBoom platform and inventory.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with agencies and brands.
  • Liaising with audioBoom’s content and finance teams.
  • Account management and the first point of contact for agency and brand contacts.
  • Maintaining an up to date knowledge of the company inventory and the digital and audio advertising market.
  • Working with the wider sales team to consistently achieve UK sales targets.
  • Liaising with podcasters and international sales teams to facilitate advertising campaigns
  • Maintaining sales administration

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • An interest in podcasting and audio would be advantageous.
  • Commercially savvy
  • Experience in creating Powerpoint presentations.
  • Previous experience in a sales role.
  • Works well under their own initiative to create new business leads.
  • Motivated by hitting sales targets.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Good with numbers
  • Established relationships with media agency planners/buyers and direct clients is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
