This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding organisation determined to become the world leaders in market intelligence. GlobalData Consumer works with global brands to deliver unique data and insight to enable informed business decisions, principally within the FMCG industry and its related sectors.
 
Through playing an important part within an evolving and growing business, you will be encouraged to take a proactive, differentiated, client-led approach into this exciting marketplace to allow for new opportunities to be identified. As a key account manager, you will be responsible for nurturing, developing and expanding a portfolio of clients globally, across the FMCG market.

What you will do

  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets by strategically developing new business opportunities within the business intelligence market to the largest clients within the FMCG industry
  • Grow a pre-existing book of ‘Key Accounts’ including a multitude of the major players across your territory
  • Cold call new prospects and target existing retention customers for upsell opportunities
  • Contribute fully to the objectives of your Division and achieve the personal objectives set by your manager
  • Use, practice and perfect key sales tools and techniques

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant industry knowledge or experience in selling digital publications
  • A wealth of experience delivering against revenue targets and metrics including both new business and account management in a B2B environment, ideally with experience of business intelligence or consulting sales
  • Advanced sales skills demonstrating a consultative approach to mould our research to the clients’ individual needs
  • Experience of professionally operating a Sales CRM
