Job Description:

A very successful conference and events division is looking for an experienced Delegate Sales Executive to drive further commercial success across their portfolio of international conferences and networking events.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sell delegate places across a large portfolio of international conferences across sectors including finance, oil and gas, property, agriculture and aviation.
  • Meet and exceed sales activity targets
  • New business - contacting new leads from competitors and other sources
  • Liaise effectively with all internal departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Delegate Sales experience or 12 months business to business sales experience.
  • Strong track record of selling effectively via the phone and working to and achieving revenue targets
  • A drive to get on the phone and source new business.
  • Ability to establish great business relationships quickly with senior clients
  • Ability to quickly develop knowledge of a new market
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as a team player with a great work ethic
