In 2005, allpay Ltd saw an opportunity to provide an online hub for housing associations and local authorities that enabled this vibrant sector to share its news and best practice.


This vision came alive with, which was the first public sector website to aggregate news and views, and allow the sector to post its own content – all wrapped up in breaking and often exclusive news. 24 hours a day.


Following the success of, we launched 24housing magazine in 2008. This led to the formation of a recruitment site, the 24housing Awards and our annual Young Leaders campaign and conference.


We are now proud to be the fastest growing media for social housing in the UK. We’ve built this up since our launch and it’s now all under one roof – 24housing.


The monthly 24housing magazine and our website has an audience of nearly 100,000 people. We also have a substantial social media presence, with a growing follower base of 13,000. That’s a reach of over 500,000 people we engage with through @24housing.


We’ve come a long way since 2005. Always changing to meet the needs of our audience, but keeping people at the centre of everything we do.


Unafraid to campaign when the need arises, we are committed to housing for everyone. We are always looking to find a better way forward and we’re delighted to celebrate the best people and most rigorous standards.
