We are delighted to be able to present an exciting, new opportunity to work for a growing, SME-sized business who operate in the highly competitive retail fashion sector. With an already well established wholesale network and products in retail outlets across the UK, Europe and the USA, this company are embarking on growing their online retail presence to become a major brand in the UK fashion industry. We are therefore looking to recruit an experienced Ecommerce Merchandiser who will be responsible for ensuring that our client's customers get the best possible online user experience and that products are displayed online in the best possible way. You'll be used to using analytics and insights to deliver effortless customer journeys, identify best-selling products, under performing lines and overall maximise all sales opportunities. Identifying refinements to pages, search/navigation, filtering and categorisation to ensure that customers can find the products that they want and are offered similar products that may be of interest. Key responsibilities: Ensuring all products are merchandised to exceptional standards on the ecommerce platforms, with on brand images and copy. Communicating key sales messages to customers. Ensuring all product taxonomy, categorisation and meta-data is present and correct and that products are added/removed in a timely manner. Monitoring and improving conversion, AOV's and retention. Mapping user journeys through each website to improve customer experience. QA testing website updates across multiple operating systems and devices. Collaborating with marketing and design teams on web updates. Liaison with external web developers. Ensuring stock levels and pricing are updated and accurate. Supporting e-marketing campaigns and email shots. Assisting with reporting and analytics, including using tools such as GA, GTM, Hotjar etc. Supporting Ecommerce Manager and Directors with any other duties/projects. Key skills/experience required: Previous experience with managing website content for an ecommerce retail company. previous expereinc working for a millenial brand Experience in advising or creating customer journeys on ecommerce websites. Excellent overall IT experience, including managing CMS and other applications to track website usage and trends. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Good level of education, ideally a relevant degree or similar.
