With a global publishing and successful Events business, my client is the recognised global leader within their sector and is a well-recognised and respected brand.
The Delegate Sales Executive is responsible for maximising the revenue opportunities across two global portfolios of events and ensuring the quality and quantity of attendees at our conferences and achieving revenue and end-user targets as set by the company.
The role will involve reaching out to existing and new clients to find out what their priorities and challenges are and to match these with the benefits of attending the events. A part of the role will involve offering complimentary passes to certain attendee categories.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE BUSINESS WILL INCLUDE:
Understanding clients' challenges and matching these with the features of the conference
Delivering delegate revenue from both existing and new clients
Ensuring buy-side attendee numbers onsite as set out by the company
Achieving high volume phone call activity
Timely and accurate processing of orders
Tracking and reporting of sales results
Managing a pipeline of prospects and maintaining and updating the CRM system
Excellent telephone manner and comfortable speaking to senior decision-makers
Quick learner; ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite, specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience of using Hubspot or a similar CRM platform
Excellent time management
High level customer service ethos
The ability to work in a team environment
