Job Description:

The Haymarket Network Account team is recruiting for a Senior Account Manager to build and develop the existing relationship with one of our largest and fast-growing clients, CIPS. Already an experienced Senior Account Manager with a strong background in client management you will relish the challenge of gaining new business from your accounts.

Overall purpose of the job


Supporting the Group Account Director (the client’s senior point of contact with Haymarket) in the day to day management of this high profile client you’ll be committed to delivering high levels of client service.

This involves providing admin support, generating reports, client and cross-agency, cross-Haymarket liaison as well as ensuring that the brief for this monthly magazine its digital and live channels are met on time and on budget.

Although you will be focused on managing the content-related, Haymarket Network side of this business, you will be required to understand, liaise and support the live and third-party revenue generating commercial side of Haymarket’s CIPD business, which is being run by Haymarket Business Media.

You will protect and maximise the profitability of your work through effective management of the client and the approvals process, your editorial team, production team, costs, and suppliers, whilst delivering the highest quality products to meet the clients brief.

As such, you’ll be self-motivated, enthusiastic, extremely well organised and be able to think on your feet and problem solve. Working as part of a team you must be a strong communicator, form strong relationships with your peers and client and have a desire to understand their business.

Person specification


Proven success in the business to business sector would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be expected to hit the ground running and to use your own solid experience and communication skills to add value to this new client working with our editorial, production, publishing, live event and commercial teams. This is truly a position for somebody ambitious, talented and dynamic who is looking to take their skills to the next level. As such you’ll be self-motivated, enthusiastic, extremely well organised and be able to think on your feet and problem solve.
